Member of Hamas Political Bureau Ezat al-Rasheq said that Thursday’s session of the UNGA is a real test for all the countries of the world,

The international community has to choose on Thursday between siding with the Israeli-biased US administration or supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause by voting against the US draft resolution criminalising the Palestinian resistance, he clarified.

In a press release, al-Rasheq noted that the Palestinian people hoped the UN member states vote against the US draft resolution condemning the Palestinian resistance.

Al-Rasheq confirmed that the US resolution sought to delegitimize the Palestinian people’s right to resist the occupation by all means possible in a blatant violation of the UN Charter, international law, and the Geneva Conventions.

The US had put forward a draft bill condemning the Palestinian resistance, including Hamas, at the UN General Assembly.
