US policy would no longer be able to deny the Palestinian people of their right to resist the occupation.
Hamas leader Sami Abu Zohri said that the US policy, which is biased towards the Israeli Occupation, would no longer be able to deny the Palestinian people of their right to resist the occupation.
In a press release, Abu Zohri condemned the US administration for “siding with the Israeli Occupation, while criminalising the victim for defending itself.”
Abu Zohri’s remarks made in response to a statement by the US Envoy to the Middle East Peace Process Jason Greenblatt, in which he slammed the US failure to condemn the Palestinian resistance at the UNGA.
“UN this is what you defended last week when you failed to condemn Hamas. Is this what the UN wants its legacy to be?” Greenblatt said in a tweet late Sunday addressing the international body.
On December 6, the UN member states voted against a US-proposed draft resolution that condemns the Palestinian resistance.
