Hamas has held the Israeli Occupation government fully responsible for the repercussions of the “dangerous incitement” against the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

In a press release, Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum said, “putting up posters inciting to assassinating the PA President Mahmoud Abbas reflects a culture of violence and terrorism, promoted by the apartheid Israeli occupation government.”

“The Israeli Occupation government shall bear full responsibility for the consequences of this dangerous incitement against Abbas,” Barhoum added.

Barhoum called on the PA to take the appropriate measures necessary to fight off the systematic Israeli policies, above all ending the security collaboration with the Israeli Occupation.
