Transferring Jerusalem properties to Israeli settlers is a national crime, Hamas leader Esam al-Dalis said.

In a press release, al-Dalis called for inflicting severe punishment on anyone transferring Jerusalem properties to Israeli settlers.

Al-Dalis called on all segments of the Palestinian people to counter this crime, which aims at judaizing Jerusalem, at the official, factional, and popular levels.   

It is worth noting that the Israeli settlers have been taking over the Palestinian properties through different means, including buying the property rights, which would grant the Israeli settlers the ability to determine how such property may be used.

Such move came as part of an Israeli policy to increase the number of Israeli settlers living illegally in the occupied Jerusalem.
