On the statements of the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov that Moscow is willing to convene a meeting between Hamas and Fatah to promote reconciliation between the two sides, Hamas movement states the following:

Hamas movement hails Russia’s willingness to convene a meeting between Hamas and Fatah to promote national reconciliation and heal the Palestinian rift.

Hamas thanks Russia for its endeavours and the movement reiterates its positive stance towards any efforts to enhance national unity and partnership.

With unity, the Palestinian people can confront the US endeavours aiming to liquidate the Palestinian rights through the so-called “Deal of the Century”. Together, we can draw up a political vision backed by resistance to defend the Palestinians and preserve their rights.
