The chief of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniya slammed the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu for criticising the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In a press release, Haniya said, “A criminal and killer of children must not give lessons on humanity,” in a clear reference to Netanyahu.

“Those who practice terrorism and injustice in Palestinian must not criticise those supporting the oppressed people around the globe,” Haniya added. 

Haniya confirmed that Netanyahu’s scathing remarks about Erdogan reflected a state of “schizophrenia and panic” amid the success of boycott campaigns and the corruption charges the Israeli PM is facing.  

The top Hamas leader described Netanyahu as a “killer of children and perpetrator of massacres against the Palestinian people.”

 “Those whose hands are stained with the blood of Palestinian children and women and have been committing atrocious crimes against them for 70 years must not preach about humanity and human rights,” Haniya concluded.

In a raft of tweets on Sunday, Netanyahu had attacked Erdogan branding the Turkish President as “anti-Semitic dictator.”
