Hamas expressed on Tuesday its sincere gratitude to the Kuwaiti Emir, government, parliament and people for supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause.

“Hamas, on behalf of the Palestinian people, thank the Kuwaiti Emir, government, parliament and people for their stances in support of the Palestinian cause,” the member of Hamas Political Bureau said in a tweet Tuesday.

Kuwait pledged $200 million to implement reconstruction projects, including housing units and infrastructure.

The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced on Monday that it had handed over 124 housing units in Wadi Gaza village in central Gaza to families whose houses were demolished during the 2014 Israeli offensive on Gaza, as part of a reconstruction project funded by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
