The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has considered Israel's decision to close many of its schools in the occupied Palestinian territories as a reflection of its failure to face the massive Palestinian uprising.
In brief press remarks on Wednesday, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri described Israel's decision in this regard as a declaration of its impotence and failure to confront the growing popular uprising against it.
"Hamas salutes the courageous young men of the West Bank and Jerusalem, who have confused the occupation and made a real legend with their blood and bravery," Abu Zuhri underlined.
A wave of angry protests and attacks have been sweeping the occupied Palestinian lands in reaction to Israel's escalation of its violations against the Palestinians in general and the Aqsa Mosque in particular.
