The member of Hamas International Relations Office Dr. Basin Naim stated that Hamas has carried out meetings and calls with the Gulf countries recently.

Naim added that the meetings were intended to highlight the grave danger of normalizing ties with the Israeli occupation.

“The movement [Hamas] highlighted its stance towards normalization with the Israeli occupation… it is a great danger not only for Palestine but for the Arab counties as well.” Naim said.

The Hamas leader clarified that Hamas’ message to the Gulf was clear and strong. “We demand to halt all forms of normalization immediately and without hesitation,” he added.

He also reiterated Hamas’ rejection to normalizing ties with the Israeli occupation adopted by some Arab writers and artists.

Naim added that the Arab peoples are still conscious of normalization and they consider the Israeli occupation their sole enemy.”

The Hamas leader urged all parties to ‘exert more efforts in order to stop normalization with the occupation’ stressing that Hamas is ready to cooperate with any party for this purpose.
