A Palestinian died Saturday morning of his wounds that he suffered when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a demonstration by the border fence east of Gaza City and near Khan Younis on Friday.

The 21 year old Jehad Abid died of serious wounds he suffered on Friday when IOF opened fire at Palestinian protesters near the border fence east of Khan Younis.

Abid was transferred to hospital, in very critical condition, where he died on Saturday morning.

Abid’s martyrdom rises Gaza’s death toll to seven after six others were killed and 145 were injured by Israeli fire on the same day on the borders of Gaza.     

In West Bank, a Palestinian young man was killed and several others suffered bullet injuries at dawn Saturday when the IOF attacked protesters from Shuafat refugee camp, north of Occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian local sources said that Ahmed Jamal was shot dead by an Israeli soldier during clashes with Israeli troops at the entrance to the camp.

Eyewitnesses said that a large number of Israeli soldiers stormed, amid intensive gunfire, Shuafat camp during the events and opened fire at some homes.
