Commenting on the Israeli attack against the Palestinians detained in Ofer Prison, Member of Hamas Political Bureau Musa Dudin stated the following:

The Israeli occupation is determined to adopt a suppressive policy against the Palestinian detainees in the Israeli jail. That policy is implemented under a systematic plan aimed to deprive the detainees of their basic human rights and a minimum level of life requirements.

Today, the Israeli forces committed a brutal violation against the Palestinians detained in Ofer Prison, which led to hundreds of causalities among the Palestinian detainees.

Indeed, this atrocious act reflects the Israeli criminal demeanor and exposes their leaders’ false claims that they adhere to human rights principles. Today’s assault is a continuation of the Israeli violent policies against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli suppression of the Palestinian detainees is alarming as it marks the launch of a violent crackdown against the detainees aimed to break their will and steadfastness.

The Palestinian people will not leave the detainees alone enduring the tyranny of the occupation and will defend them with all means possible. Furthermore, the Palestinians will support the resistance of the detainees in the Israeli jails, as they never abandon those people jailed for long years for their freedom struggle against the occupation and its oppression.

Finally, Hamas holds the Israeli occupation responsible for the Israeli attack on the Palestinian detainees and stresses that they are a red line that must not be crossed.
