Hamas leader Osama Hamdan stated that the situation in the Palestinian lands heads for further escalation with the Israeli occupation in light of the Israeli refusal to reverse its provocative actions in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
In a televised interview on Friday, Hamdan said that the Palestinian popular movement emphasizes that resistance against the occupation unites all Palestinians.
Hamdan added that the current Palestinian generation born under Oslo agreement had spent half their lives as subjects of general Dayton’s policies, but those attempts failed in creating a distorted generation.
He pointed out that Netanyahu attempts to break the will of the Palestinian people, falsely believing he could liquidate the Palestinian cause through incitement and murder.
Hamdan stressed that the failure of negotiations requires the PA to stop security coordination with the Israeli occupation and return to the path of resistance, calling for achieving Palestinian unity based on resistance strategy.
