Member of Hamas Political Bureau Mahmoud al-Zahar said Sunday that the Palestinian resistance was sticking on its conditions to reach a prisoner swap deal.
In a press release, al-Zahar explained that the Israeli occupation had not yet responded to the Palestinian resistance’s condition to release all detainees freed in Wafa al-Ahrar deal.
“The Israeli occupation has tried over the few past days to pressure the Palestinian detainees inside the Israeli jails to divert the attention of the Israeli people from a new prisoner swap deal,” al-Zahar added.
Al-Zahar noted that the Palestinian prisoner issue was on the table in all meetings, at Arab, Islamic, international levels.
Regarding Hamas’s visit to Russia, al-Zahar confirmed that Moscow’s invitation for Hamas reflects the good political relations between both sides.
Al-Zahar noted that the reconciliation issue would not be on the agenda of Hamas delegation during its visit to Moscow.
