Hamas welcomes all interventions to mitigate the suffering of the Palestinian civilians and alleviate the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.

In a press release, Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qano’a hailed Qatar for supporting the Palestinian people and welcomed any effort exerted to alleviate the Palestinians’ suffering in the impoverished territory.  

Earlier this week, the Palestinian government announced that it would distribute financial aid donated by Qatar to 94,000 poor families in Gaza and set up various humanitarian projects to mitigate the difficult situation in the besieged territory.

This move followed Hamas’ decision last Thursday to reject  receiving the third Qatari tranche after the Israeli Occupation imposed new conditions on the funds entering Gaza.
