The PA government, led by Rami al-Hamdallah, has considerably deepened the internal division
The PA government, led by Rami al-Hamdallah, has considerably deepened the internal division, Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhom said.
In a press release, Barhom added that the resignation of al-Hamdallah’s government is intended to exchange roles with Fatah, led by the PA President Mahmoud Abbas, and to pave the way for a new “separatist” government that serves partisan interests only.
The Palestinian people need a national unity government, a unified national council, and general and legislative council, the Hamas spokesperson explained.
Palestinian PM Rami al-Hamdallah announced early Tuesday that he would "put his government at the disposal of President Mahmoud Abbas," noting that his government would continue its role until a new government is formed.
