On closing Bab al-Rahma at al-Aqsa by the Israeli occupation forces, Hamas movement states the following

The attempts of Palestinian worshippers to fight off the Israeli Occupation’s closure of Bab al-Rahma at al-Aqsa Mosque proves that the Palestinian people insist on foiling all bids aimed at dividing the holy compound spatially and timely.

Hamas confirms that al-Aqsa is a red line and therefore the Palestinian people will not accept any attempt to obliterate the holy site’s Islamic identity.

The ongoing Israeli assaults on worshippers at al-Aqsa and the closure of its gates have herald an imminent uprising against the occupation.

In addition, Hamas believes that the shameful wave of normalisation with the Israeli Occupation has encouraged the latter to desecrate the sanctity of the Muslims’ first Qibla and third shrine.

Thus, the resistance group calls on the Arab and Islamic nations to throw their support behind the Palestinian cause, preserve Jerusalem, and take an action immediately to fight off all attempts aimed at integrating the Israeli Occupation into the region.
