The Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem stated the following:

Fatah has insisted to block all procedures aimed to reform the Palestinian Liberation Organization and modify its behavior. By adhering to such policy, Fatah violates all the previous reconciliation agreements that have been signed since the Cairo Agreement 2005.

That Fatah keeps the Palestinian political system inactive and the organization fragile is a demeanor that does only serve partisan agenda. In fact, such demeanor weakens the Palestinian situation and the Palestinians’ ability to tackle challenges.
