Hamas condemned on Wednesday the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to label al-Aqsa TV channel as “terrorist organisation.”

In a press release, Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanoa said that Netanyahu’s move was aimed to target the Palestinian media institutions and demonise them in a bid to undermine the Palestinian people’s narrative and prevent the Palestinian media from exposing the ugly truth about the occupation.

Al-Qanoa’s remarks came after Netanyahu had issued an order declaring the Gaza-based TV station as “terrorist organisation.”
