Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanoa said that the Egyptian delegation was doubling efforts to press the Israeli Occupation to implement the ceasefire understandings, including lifting its siege on Gaza.
In a press release, al-Qanoa added that the Egyptian delegation was working to prevent any Israeli aggression against Gaza, holding the Israeli Occupation responsible for “gradually evading the implantation of the ceasefire understandings.”
The Hamas spokesperson confirmed that the Israeli Occupation would pay a price for stalling for time and evading its responsibility towards Gaza.
The Hamas leadership and the National Committee of the Great Return March met with the Egyptian delegation on Thursday and briefed them on the progress made concerning lifting the Gaza siege and the ceasefire talks.
Egypt has been mediating in ceasefire understandings between the Israeli Occupation and the Palestinian resistance and the reconciliation talks between Hamas and Fatah.
