Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh phoned in Wednesday evening Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and discussed with him the efforts being exerted these days to reach a ceasefire agreement with t Israeli occupation.

Haniyeh lauded the Emir’s efforts and his country’s role in setting up reconstruction and humanitarian projects in Gaza.

His Highness, on the other hand, reiterated his country’s position in support of the Palestinian people, especially Gaza’s residents, stressing that he will do whatever it takes to help the current ceasefire efforts succeed.
