Hamas strongly deplores and condemns the US administration’s decision to impose fresh sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran, hitting oil industry.

We deem this plan a dangerous escalation targeting the Iranian people and economy and threatening the security and stability of the region and the world.  

 The Trump administration’s ongoing policy of imposing unfair sanction is doomed to failure and will fail to achieve its goals. Such policy will fuel feuds in the region that serve only the agenda and interests of the Israeli occupation and its allies, who pose a serious threat to the region’s wealth and resources, along with Palestine and all supporters of the Palestinian issue.
