During the visit, the delegation met with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed, Home Minister and Head of Bersatu Party Mohiuddin Yasin, Defense Minister and head of Amanah party Mohammed Sabu, head of People's Justice party Anwar Ibrahim, Head of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) Party Zahid Hamidi, and Head of Malaysian Islamic Party Abdul Hadi Awang, in addition to Federal Territories Minister Khalid Samad and Deputy FM Marzouqi Yahya.

The meetings focused on the Palestinian status quo and the challenges facing the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom.

The delegation discussed the dangers posed to the Palestinian cause, above all the so-called “Deal of the century,” and the ways to overcome these challenges.

While reiterating the necessity to fight off all plans targeting the Palestinian cause, the delegation hailed Malaysia for supporting the Palestinian rights and cause.

During his meeting with the Hamas delegation, the Malaysian PM reaffirmed his county’s constant position in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.

The delegation included member of Hamas Political Bureau Ezzat al-Rasheq, member of Hamas’ Arab and Islamic Relations Office Munir Said, and representatives from the Palestinian Cultural Organization Musallem Emran and Abdallah Waleed.
