Commenting on the brutal attack on Palestinian worshippers at al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli occupation forces, Hamas states the following:

Attacking Palestinian worshippers at al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli occupation forces and storming the sacred compound by extremist Jewish settlers reflects a state of irritation that the Israeli occupation is going through after thousands of Muslims spent the last ten nights of Ramadan in constant worship at al-Aqsa. Determined to access al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinians highlighted the Islamic identity of the sacred compound, voicing their rejection to all Israeli measures aimed at judaizing al-Aqsa Mosque and changing its features.   

The ongoing assault and break-ins of al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli occupation forces and settlers will only make the Palestinian people more determined to defend al-Aqsa Mosque and preserve its sanctity.

The Israeli occupation should bear  the responsibility for the repercussions of its violations at al-Aqsa Mosque that led to a wave of protests in which the Palestinian people voice their anger over Israeli measures at the sacred compound.   

The Israeli occupation is a racist regime that does not respect the sanctity of religions and holy sites. The ongoing break-ins and atrocious assaults on al-Aqsa Mosque reflect its hardline and criminal image despite its false claims of being democratic and respecting freedoms.
