Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem condemned statements made by the US ambassador David Friedman that the Israeli occupation has the right to annex some of the West Bank.

In a press release, the Hamas spokesperson said that the US ambassador’s statements highlight the US involvement in the Israeli oppression and target the Palestinian issue.

“The US ambassador’s statements are fully in line with the vision of Israeli extremist right-wing…and they reflect the US’s disrespect for the Arab nations,” Qasem added.

He also said that the remarks made by Friedman unveil a part of the Trump’s vision to liquidate the Palestinian issue, which should be faced off with a unified Palestinian stance.
