In a press release, the Hamas spokesperson said that making progress in the social reconciliation to handle the repercussions of the Palestinian division would highlight the determination of the Palestinian people and factions to overcome this problem and reinforce social cohesion in the Palestinian society.
Qasem added that settling the social reconciliation is one of the most important files agreed upon in the 2011 Cairo Agreement.
Qasem expressed his movement’s appreciation to the families of the Palestinian division’s victim for demonstrating national responsibility that helped the Social Reconciliation Committee succeed.
The Hamas spokesperson stressed that the Palestinian people would remain united in their struggle against the Israeli occupation until liberating Palestine.
