Head of Hamas Information Office in Lebanon Walid Kilani announced that the movement would hold a massive popular gathering in Beirut tomorrow Tuesday to protest the Bahrain conference.

In a press release, Kilani said that this event aims to show that Palestinian refugees residing in Lebanon reject the “Deal of the Century” and the Bahrain summit.

Kilani added that this massive sit-in would be held in front of the headquarter of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in Beirut on June 25, coinciding with the launch of the Bahrain conference.

The Hamas official noted that this event came as part of a series of popular, political, and media activities held by Hamas in Lebanon to voice the Palestinian opposition to the Bahrain summit.

The US is co-hosting an event in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on June 25 and 26 to reveal the economic part of its “Deal of the Century”, which the Palestinian people believe that it threatens their rights and cause.
