A senior delegation from Hamas movement led by Hamas deputy chief Saleh al-Aruri arrived Saturday in Iran.

The Hamas delegation will carry out a round of meetings with senior Iranian officials to discuss political issues related to the Palestinian cause.

Many senior Hamas officials participate in the delegation including: Musa Abu Marzouq, Maher Salah, Ezzar Rishq, Zaher Jabareen, Osama Hamdan, Husam Badran, Ismail Ridwan, and Maher al-Qadumi.

Earlier in Saturday, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh announced that a senior delegation from the movement was heading to Tehran and wished that the visit would achieve ‘important results’.
