Hamas extended its sincere condolences to Tunisian leadership, government, people, and parties on the death of President Beji Caid Essebsi, who spent his life serving Tunisia alongside the issues of Arab and Islamic nations, above all the Palestinian cause.    

In a press release, Hamas wished that Tunisian people and leadership would preserve security and stability in their country and continue supporting the Jerusalem issue, especially at this phase fraught with dangers and challenges.    

The Tunisian President passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 92 after a severe illness.
