Head of Morocco’s Unification and Reform Movement Abdel Rahim Shaikhi offered Wednesday his condolences to chief of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh over the death of Sheikh Ahmad Hamdan. 

“On behalf of the Unification and Reform Movement leadership and members, we send our sincere condolences to the deceased’s family, Hamas Movement, and the Palestinian people,” Shaikhi said in a phone call.

With Hamdan's death, Shaikhi explained, the Arab and Islamic nations, especially Palestine, have lost one of the icons of resisting the occupation.
