Member of Hamas Political Bureau Ezzt al-Rasheq described Sunday the Israeli attacks in southern Biuret as a “condemned and criminal act.”

In a tweet, al-Rasheq said that the Israeli government should be reminded of how many times the “Israeli army’s nose was rubbed in the dirt in Lebanon.”   

Al-Rasheq considered any Israeli attack on any Arab or Islamic territory as an aggression against all of the Arab and Islamic nations, noting that fighting the occupation is the only way to preserve the ‘deterrence balance’ and the rules of engagement.  

“The Israeli offensive against Lebanon is an assault on both sovereignty and people,” al-Rasheq continued, adding that the Israeli occupation “is playing with fire.”
