Member of Hamas Political Bureau Dr. Khalil al-Hayya said Friday that the Oslo Accords had turned resistance, which is a legitimate right, to acts criminalised by some norms and states due to the PA’s recognition of the Israeli occupation after the deal.
While participating in the Great Return March, al-Hayya highlighted that the Oslo Accords had paved the way for the Israeli occupation to be a ‘normal’ state, after being isolated.
He stressed that the Oslo Accords helped the Israeli occupation to expand in the Arab world and to accelerate the settlement process by doubles.
The Hamas official noted that the Israeli occupation had tremendously benefited from this deal and relied on it to increase its presence in the Arab world.
He added: “Now, it is the time for the Oslo team to declare that they made a historic fault and recognise that it is a deal that has torn the Palestinian people apart.”
Al-Hayya called on the ‘Oslo team’ to accept national unity and get back to the Palestinian people after accepting resistance and mobilise Arab and Islamic efforts to face off the Israeli occupation.
