Head of Hamas Arab and Islamic Relations office Izzat Al-Risheq has offered the movement’s condolences to Indonesia over the death of Former President Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie at 83.

In a letter sent to Indonesia, Al-Risheq said: “We offer our heartfelt condolences to the Indonesian people, government, and president over the death of Former President Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie.”

The Hamas official expressed the movement’s wishes that the late President may rest in peace and asked Allah to reward him for his achievements and sacrifices made to serve the issues of his people and the Islamic Ummah, above all the Palestinian cause.
