The West Bank-based Palestinian Authority does not show serious willingness to stop collaboration with any coming Israeli government, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said Sunday.
The Hamas spokesperson added that the PA-adopted stance proves that it still under the same delusion that it could get any gains through this option,
Qasem’s comments came following statements by senior Palestinian Authority officials in which they said that the PA is ready to negotiate with any coming Israeli prime minister.
Qasem explained that this move indicated that the PA was not “serious” about its decision to end all agreements with the Israeli occupation, yet it insisted on breaking the national consensus on rejecting this option.
