On the Israeli violations against the Palestinian detainees held in the Israeli jails, Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum stated the following:

Hamas salutes Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons for their steadfastness and resilience in the face of all Israeli measures and violations against them.

The Palestinian resistance movement holds the Israeli occupation’s government responsible for all consequences of the ongoing violations against the Palestinian detainees and the failure of the so-called Israeli Prison Service to enforce the understandings reached with the leadership of Palestinian Prisoners Movement, above all removing signal jamming devices, which pose a serious threat to the detainees’ lives.

As Hamas warns against the continuation of such  hostile policies towards the Palestinian detainees, the resistance movement highlights the necessity to intensify popular, political, and diplomatic efforts, at all Palestinian levels and by all national and Islamic factions, to support the Palestinian detainees and end their suffering until their freedom is restored.
