Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem criticised on Saturday evening the policy of Mohammed Ishtaya-led government towards the besieged Gaza Strip.

“The continuation of racist measures practised by Dr.Mohammed Ishtaya’s government towards Gaza’s residents will deepen the division in the Palestinian political system and complicate the Palestinian situation,” Qasem said in a press release.

The discriminatory policy followed by Ishtaya’s government is aimed at weakening the Palestinian position, which is facing one of its most serious challenges, Qasem concluded.
