The remarks made by PA President Mahmoud Abbas about plans to form a joint committee with the Israeli occupation to reactivate previous agreements are mere press statements that cannot be taken seriously.
The demeanor of the PA leadership is disrespectful to the Palestinian people and their public opinion that rejects any ties between the PA and the Israeli occupation.
The PA always demonstrates unwillingness to resist the Israeli occupation and its oppressive measures. It also seeks partisan interests that sometimes do not serve the national interests of the Palestinians.
