Member of Hamas Political Bureau Khalil al-Hayya called Friday for taking Israeli leaders to the International Criminal Court for war crimes against Palestinians.

While participating in the 78^th Friday of the Great Return March east of Gaza, al-Hayya reiterated that the peaceful, popular protests would continue until the Palestinian goals are achieved.

Al-Hayya pointed out that Israeli occupation forces have killed more than 40 Palestinian children and wounded 250 others since the start of the Great Return March protests even though they have posed no threat to the heavily-armed Israeli occupation soldiers.

The senior Hamas official explained that Israeli shooting of Palestinian children proves that the Israeli occupation has no morals and humanitarian values and its military blatantly violates all international conventions and laws.

“It’s time the world knows the true image of the Israeli occupation, which has deceived the world about its terrorist and murderous nature for more than 70 years,” concluded al-Hayya.
