Hamas MP in Tulkarm Abdulrahman Zidan said that the Palestinian Authority has to provide protection for Palestinians and their properties against Israeli attacks and violations perpetrated by Israeli settlers across the West Bank.

In a press release, the Hamas official highlighted that Israeli settlers have intensified their attacks on alleged ‘shrines’ in Nablus and their violations have coincided with the olive harvest season.

He also said that Israeli settlers steal the olive harvest under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Zidan denounced the PA’s official silence over Israeli crimes and not protecting the Palestinians and their properties.

“Chasing any citizen who try to protect his land…and maintaining security collaboration with the Israeli occupation pose big questions about the real role of the PA,” He concluded.
