Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh said that Israeli plans to judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem are doomed to failure.

In an interview broadcast by Al-Aqsa TV Channel, Haniyeh said: “I confirm that Israeli plans will not succeed to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Israeli schemes will not pass even if we lose our bloods and heads.”

The top Hamas official stressed that Palestinians should face off the Israeli schemes with a comprehensive, brave, and wise vision, highlighting that all developments around us will not affect our central issue, for Jerusalem will remain the compass.

“We are on one path. Despite all challenges, we head towards victory, liberation, and return,” Haniyeh stressed.

He added that the Israeli occupation exploits the fact that peoples in the region are busy in domestic problems to target Al-Aqsa Mosque, pointing out that Palestinians in Jerusalem will never abandon their responsibility towards Al-Aqsa.

Haniyeh called for taking an action to protect al-Aqsa at three levels: Palestinian, Arab, and international.

Addressing Palestinians in Jerusalem and 48 occupied territories, Haniyeh said: “I confirm to our people there that they are not alone. This is our battle and our land. You represent the conscience of the Palestinian people and the leaders of victory.”

He also called on the Islamic and Arab Ummah to side with Jerusalem and provide support for Palestinians in Jerusalem to help them stand steadfast in face of the Israeli occupation.

The top Hamas official concluded by urging the free people of the world to stand for humanity by imposing a ‘diplomatic siege’ on the Israeli occupation until it stops the schemes in Jerusalem.
