The Ramallah-based public prosecutor’s insistence to contact Facebook to block the pages of the websites included in the magistrate court’s verdict is very dangerous.

This move proves that the Palestinian Authority insists on going ahead with such crime and highlights collaboration between the PA and the Israeli occupation in combating the truth and suppressing the freedom of press and the Palestinian narrative in favour of the Israeli propaganda.  

The PA should immediately backtrack on such shameful policies and decisions, as the Palestinian people will not remain silent towards PA’s arbitrary measures.
