Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem denounced Thursday the demolition of Abu Hamid’s home in the West Bank city of Ramallah for the fifth time as a “form of heinous terror practised by the [Israeli] occupation army gangs.” 

Qasem’s remarks came after Israeli army bulldozers demolished at dawn a two-story home belonging to Um Nasser Abu Hamid, a Palestinian mother of five detainees and a martyr.

Qasem hailed Abu Hamid family, saying they “represent the Palestinian steadfastness and set an example for the Palestinian people of making great sacrifices to restore their freedom.”

The Hamas spokesperson concluded that the policy of killings, arrests, and home demolitions have failed in dissuading the Palestinian people from continuing their struggle against the occupation.
