Palestinian detainee Tariq Qa’edan’s has declared that he suspends his hunger strike after Israeli Prison Service responded to his demands.

In a press release, Qasem hailed this move a “new victory against the Israeli jailer”, stressing the “Israeli arrogance falls down in front of the Palestinian will.”

Qasem saluted all Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisoner, particularly the prisoners who are still on an open-ended hunger strike to protest their imprisonment conditions.

Qasem’s comments came after Qa’edan has suspended his open-ended hunger strike following a deal with the Israeli Prion Service to reduce his period of administrative detention from six to four months.
