Head of Hamas in Gaza Yehya al-Sinwar invited Monday Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to visit the blockaded Gaza Strip for talks on various issues concerning the Palestinian cause.

“Our message to Abu Mazen [PA President Mahmoud Abbas] is to come to Gaza to sit together on one table in order to find solutions for all of our issues and problem,” al-Sinwar said in a press release. 

Al-Sinwar stressed that his movement is ready to  participate in the polls, adding “We’ll respect the election result and the choices of our people.”

 “Our people have never failed us,” al-Sinwar continued. “We’re sure that our people will always stick to their constants.”

Meanwhile, Hanna Nasser, head of the Palestinian Central Election Commission, met on Monday with the Hamas leadership along with Palestinian factions in Gaza.
