The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the storming of a Hebron hospital at dawn on Thursday by Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

In a press statement, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said that hospital raids and assassinations show the Israeli forces to be nothing but gangs that kill and terrorize with utter disregard for international humanitarian laws.

Abu Zuhri confirmed that Palestinians will defend themselves against Israeli crimes, calling on the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon to speak up against such dire violations.

Hamas called for investigating the failure of Palestinian security to show up at the scene, stressing that the Palestinian Authority needs to step up to its duty and protect Palestinian citizens and facilities.

A 28 year-old Palestinian was killed and his cousin was kidnapped by an Israeli undercover unit at dawn on Thursday after the latter stormed the al-Ahli hospital in Hebron.
