On media reports about prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and the Israeli occupation, member of Hamas Political Bureau Dr. Musa Dubeen stated the following:

Hamas official in charge of Palestinian prisoners’ affairs in the movement denies news reports published by media agencies about progress in the prisoner swap deal between Hamas and the Israeli occupation.

The Israeli occupation is held responsible for not making any progress in this regard.

We call on Palestinian media agencies to handle this issue responsibly, for it is a very sensitive topic for the Palestinian prisoners and their families. They should report any progress in this issue after confirmation from official bodies.
