A senior Hamas delegation met Friday with Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad in Kuala Lumpur.

Headed by senior Hamas official Musa Abu Marzuq, the delegation hailed diplomatic efforts exerted by the Malaysian government in support of Palestinian cause, hoping that such endeavours would be translated into actions.

The Hamas delegated also praised Malaysian PM’s speech at the Kuala Lumpur Summit in which he called for ending the Israeli occupation to Palestine in the most applicable time.

The Hamas officials briefed the Malaysian counterpart on developments concerning the situation in Palestine, including Palestinian elections and the Israeli violations.
