On alleged plots against the Israeli occupation planned by Hamas members in Turkey, member of Hamas International Relations office Dr. Basem Naim stated the following:

Hamas firmly denies such accusations. We consider such allegations a part of the Israeli-broadcast propaganda aimed to pile pressure on countries providing support for the Palestinian people.

As the Hamas members act in compliance with Turkish laws and regulations, we think that such Israeli-fabricated allegations aim to chase Hamas members, beleaguer the movement, and ban Hamas activities.

This ‘black’ propaganda will never dissuade the Palestinian people from continuing their freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation until ending the occupation and declaring independence. On the other hand, such hostile propaganda will not lead to halting support for Palestine provided by several countries.
