Hamas denies holding any negotiation on a truce with the Israeli occupation, stressing that the siege sanctions are still imposed on Gaza and the Israeli occupation has not implemented all Egyptian-brokered understandings reached previously.

The Palestinian resistance movement reiterates the necessity for all parties to assume their responsibility towards ending the blockade and punitive measures enforced by the Israeli occupation and the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority in order to undermine the option of resistance and break the willpower of Palestinian people.
