We have followed up festivals held by different Palestinian factions in Gaza to celebrate their anniversary.

We proudly record in history that Hamas has succeeded to make Gaza an inviting environment for all Palestinian factions where all exercise democracy and freedom of expression without obstacles.

In an atmosphere of security and freedom, the factional celebrations have been held, reflecting freedoms enjoyed by Gazans in spite of challenges facing the Palestinian issue.

Particularly, Fatah-organised celebrations are a clue on the honest national spirit shown by Hamas and the authorities in Gaza. We stress that such a responsible national position is a duty burdened by Hamas.

Finally, Hamas hails the outstanding performance of Palestinian security forces in Gaza and their success to secure the celebrations. We praise the security forces for their national spirit, too.
