The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas stated that Israel’s continued withholding of bodies of 31 Palestinian martyrs is a crime that calls for a strong response from resistance.

In a press release on Thursday, Hamas spokesman Husam Badran stressed that Palestinians will challenge Israeli measures which deprive them of their right to arrange funerals, opining that the stabbing operation in “Tel Aviv” on Thursday shows that martyrs’ bodies constitute a Palestinian red line.

Badran confirmed that the Israeli measures will backfire, calling on Palestinian youths to carry out more resistance actions to force Israeli occupation to turn in martyrs’ bodies to their families and people.

Meanwhile, Hamas has issued a statement calling on the Palestinian masses to join a Friday of Rage across the occupied West Bank in protest at Israel’s simmering aggressions on the al-Aqsa Mosque and seizure of martyred Palestinians’ bodies.

“These are people who have sacrificed their lives and souls for the sake of the holy al-Aqsa Mosque,” Hamas said.

“We have to seriously work on retrieving their dead bodies so that they can rest in peace on their motherland—Palestine.” The statement added.
